This one comes straight from our family table. Gigi's Gooey Butter Cake is our grandma's recipe, the one everybody asks for at every family gathering, the pan that somehow never makes it home with leftovers. A buttery, tender crust under a sweet, gooey top, dusted with powdered sugar and baked the same way she always made it. Some recipes are just too good to keep in the family, so we didn't.
