A night off

Know a family who could use a night off?

Every week we send dinner to one family going through something hard. A new baby, an illness, a funeral, a stretch that is just heavy. There is no cost and nothing asked in return.

Right now we are able to do one a week. We would like that number to grow, and it will as we do. If we cannot get to yours right away, we will tell you honestly rather than leave you waiting.

How it works

1

Tell us about them

A first name and anything that helps us cook the right thing. You do not need to explain their situation to us.

2

We cook

A full hot dinner, made fresh the same day, sized for a family. Not a kit, not something to assemble. Ready to eat.

3

You take it to them

You collect it from our kitchen and bring it over yourself. Weekday pickup runs 2:00 to 6:30. If a weekend suits you better we can do that too. It arrives from someone they know, and we never need to know who it went to.

The card that comes with it says one thing: “Someone who loves you thought you could use a night off dinner.”

Tell us about them

Who did you have in mind?

Only what you are comfortable sharing. We do not need a full name.

A rough number is fine. We would rather send too much than too little.

Any day works. On a weekday it will be that day’s dinner; on a weekend we will put together a Sunday Table meal. Give us a few days notice where you can.

For a weekend pickup I will confirm the time when I reply.

So we can let you know when it is ready.

Thank you for telling us.

We will be in touch shortly to sort out the details. If we cannot get to it this week, we will say so honestly rather than leave you wondering.

What you share here stays between us and the kitchen. We do not add anyone to a mailing list, we do not follow up with them, and we never use any of this in our marketing.
